Houston does not really have much in the way of outdoor or indoor amusement parks. You can however find some great places just outside of Houston. 1) Kemah Boardwalk -Right off the water this amusement park features a bunch of rides for kids of all ages. 2) Traders Village : Offers a few kiddie rides as well as a huge flea market for a day of fun! 3) Splashtown : Water Park located in Springs, TX 4) Schlitterbahn : Water Park located in Galveston 5) Monkey Business : For indoor fun check out this bouncy amusement park
There are currently only 2 places for pizza in Houston. Saba's and Aroma Pizza Cafe . Saba's took a bit of a beating in the beginning when Aroma opened it's doors with better pizza (at least I think so) at a lower price ( you can get a slice for only $1.49 if you choose) and much nicer ambiance. Aroma has a great line of desserts that are truly excellent as well as fresh, well made salads. Saba's does have very good sushi a few days a week and does serve excellent falafel, something Aroma does not offer at all.The best Non-Kosher pizza seems to be Spanky's and Star Pizza .
No doubt you have many choices when looking for a coffee house in Houston. If you want a cosy cafe with great ambiance and excellent service check out Caffe Di Firenze . Located in downtown Houston, it features a very beautiful interior and excellent choices of coffee, pastries and panini. I tried their frapaccino and it was heads above anything you would get at Starbucks. If you want a real kick, try their cold brew infused with nitrogen. It is extra smooth and it will keep you moving all day long. Make sure you try this great coffe house as it is the very best cafe in Houston !
